These images show a deep thought of the persons past and their normal life around the house these subjects fit in well with the main objective of the assignment and show little to no error in their making. though I would think it hard to keep some of these positions for a long enough period.
2. In the basketball court photo, I think the artist is trying to portray what she would look like being a part of the whole team. A one man team, to be exact. Being the team. In the kitchen photo, the artist is trying to portray what she would be doing on a rainy day or a day off work. Making cookies, cleaning and being in the kitchen, she must love to cook or enjoy making food.
3. There are no technical issues with either one of the photos, I think she did a good job with both. Nothing seems to bother me.
4. I found the kitchen photo to be the best because Its in a nice environment and the lighting is nice and calming. She puts herself throughout the picture and not just in one area, which allows the viewer to view each image and understand what each one is doing.
2. I enjoy that Traci portrays herself as a whole team, not just the players. it reveals an all-around knowledge of basketball, which I'm assuming you did in high school? Traci Homemaker feels very comfortable even though cooking can get generally chaotic, especially with more people. You can tell that you also put a lot of time into masking yourselves into the photo.
3. No issues here!
4. The cooking photo is slightly more successful because you space yourself out and it tells a story. It also feels kinda like a magazine, you can say Martha Stewart haha
1. Both of your images appear to meet the criteria for this assignment -- 2 compositions and a minimum of 4 selves in each! And I feel like they do show a part of your life, either as a part of your past or as a possible hobby.
2. In your first photo, I think your message (based on your title) is a reflection on your past -- those good ole high school days! It's really interesting that you made yourself almost every part of a high school basketball game. It makes me wonder if you played all of those roles at some point, or if you just loved the sport/environment. And it's a scene that I would guess most of us could relate to because we were all high schoolers not so long ago. The second image might depict a favorite hobby of yours -- baking cookies, or just cooking in general? Since you're wearing the same outfit throughout, I assume this is a timeline of sorts (mixing the dough, putting cookies in the oven, cooling the cookies, and cleaning up). The spacing between each of the figures is really well done. It allows for a clean transition between the tasks, and helps the eyes to move around -- no area is too clogged up! And maybe it was unintentional, but there is a decoration in the right hand corner that reads "RELAX." I definitely feel that you are relaxed in this image!
3. From what I can tell, there are no major technical errors in either of these images. The only construction suggestion I have is for "Reminiscing the Good Ole Days." I think the fan in the stands with the bell could have been placed more in the open, maybe between the coach and the cheerleader. Where she is sitting now, she is blocked pretty bad. I would like to see more of her!
4. Overall, fantastic job, Traci! I think your strongest image is your second one, "Homemaker Traci." The environment is very open and the lighting, like Kelsy said, is really nice. You did a great job of using the whole space and the activity flows throughout the image. The tone is also very welcoming!
1. Fits criteria. 2. She is portraying a basketball game in the first one and the second one looks like she is getting ready for the holidays. 3. No technical issues. 4. I like the basketball one better, although I think you could have left the person sitting on the bleachers out, or moved them over so we could see you better. It's neat that you have the players, the ref, and the cheerleader.
1. Both images meet the criteria for the assignment and are constructed well. 2. In Reminiscing on the good ole days I think she is potraying something that use to play a large part in her life and that she still has good memories of it, While the other shows a different side of her cooking and doing all the different parts of it. 3. There are no noticeable technical issues, I really like the work and think they are great representations of the assignment. 4. I think that Reminiscing On The Good Ole Days is the most successful of the two, it has great representation of the artist and was constructed very well.
1. Both images meet the criteria of the assignment. 2. In "Reminiscing on the Good Ole Days" she is looking back to her high school years. In "Traci Homemaker" she is showing her love for cooking. 3. In the First Image one of the Duplicates is almost completely behind another, I would have moved it over more. 4. I think that "Traci Homemaker" is the most successful, due to the warm inviting nature of the home and the tranquil nature she portrays as she is baking cookies.
1) You did a great job meeting the criteria! You went above.. :) 2)I LOVE the "good ole days" photo.. Everyone deep down misses high school, and i can really relate to this photo because i did every sport possible in high school! 3)I think the "homemaker" photo is better constructed. You can tell that you were more comfortable with the assignment after your first try. 4) The better of the two is the "homemaker" Its a very clear and eel constructed photo.
1) The images meet the criteria or fulfill the assignment.
2) "Reminiscing On The Good Ole Days" is about her remembering the good days in school being a part of sports. I'm not sure if she was a player, cheerleader, etc. or if this is a scene that actually happened to her. "Traci Homemaker" is about cooking.
3) In "Reminiscing On The Good Ole Days," the figure on the bleachers is being blocked by another figure. Perhaps, moving the figure to a more open area or leaving it out completely would be better.
4) I think "Traci Homemaker" is the most successful image. I love the lighting, figures, surroundings, and interactions. It also feels more planned and thought out.
2. I think the two images could be like a "Then and Now" kind of situation. Maybe she was involved in sports all throughout high school, and now she likes to spend her time cooking.
3. I think both images are great, I don't notice any technical issues, but I think the lighting could have been better in the first image.
4. I think the homemaker image is the best of the two, sometimes the amount of work that goes on in the kitchen really feels like it's being done by multiple people, the image portrayed that nicely.
These images show a deep thought of the persons past and their normal life around the house these subjects fit in well with the main objective of the assignment and show little to no error in their making. though I would think it hard to keep some of these positions for a long enough period.
ReplyDelete1. These photos do meet criteria, nicely done!
